Florida Trip, Day One.
Sep. 2nd, 2006 12:54 amOn our way! The people on the trip include roommates A and J, couch hobo D, and friend P. J and P are driving.
We left around 11:00 this morning, and made it to Washington around 9:30. For the most part, the trip was uneventful. We only got lost at the very end, when we drove into the Pentagon parking lot. ^_^ We also ran into the tail end of Ernesto, so it's raining like crazy.
We're staying at P's girlfriend's place. We got in at 9:30, and went to the Skydome club. It's a rotating bar, so it was neat, but the rain and night meant that the view wasn't the best, but the Pentagon was visible, plus the Washington monument, and what I was told was the White House, but it was just a dim light, so it wasn't that impressive.
We'll be stopping back here on the way back, so we'll be spending some time seeing the sights then.
Hopefully I'll have internet in Florida, so I'll try and post again.
