System Down
May. 3rd, 2006 01:31 pmAWD, the document scanning system we use here went Ka-Boom. Apparently someone tried to do a look-up with improper criteria, and seriously messes up the database. This lead to some thoughts:
Seriously, the latest version of the software that I use, in the first day we had it, I found at least four ways I could get it to consistently crash, sometimes to the point of auto-rebooting the computer. I'm not surprised there are problems in the database system either.
Oh, it seems to be back now, that was a nice 40 min. break.
edit:Wait, no, there it goes again. It's going to be one of those days...

- I have time to catch up on paperwork I've been letting build up,
- The system is rather buggy, if someone can set up a search that blows it up, and
- I have to figure out what the search was so I can get more free time ^_^
